WhatsApp to stop working on these Android devices soon: Unsupported version, what to do and more
WhatsApp will stop working on smartphones running older versions of operating systems starting from October 24. This includes devices from Samsung, Google, Sony, LG, and other brands. WhatsApp drops support for Android 4.1 and older, which means these devices won't be able to run the latest version of WhatsApp. Users will miss out on new features and may become more vulnerable to security breaches. Users will be notified in advance and will need to update their phone or switch to a supported device. The change only applies to Android devices, while iOS and KaiOS devices are unaffected.
