Apple is reportedly developing a system that will allow iOS updates to be installed on unsold iPhones within the packaging. This means that when users purchase a new iPhone, it will already have the latest version of the operating system installed, eliminating the need for manual updates. The process involves placing the iPhone on a pad-like device in Apple Stores, which will wirelessly update the device before turning it off again.
