Indian cricketers Shreyas Iyer, Suryakumar Yadav, and Ishan Kishan are competing for one spot in the team once Hardik Pandya recovers from injury. Iyer, who has featured in all six games of India's unbeaten campaign, has struggled with short, pacy deliveries and has been dismissed attempting the pull shot. Gautam Gambhir suggests that Iyer should be more selective and not always go for the attacking option. Iyer's performance against Sri Lanka will be crucial in determining his future in the team.
