WhatsApp starts rolling out Passkeys: All the details
WhatsApp has started rolling out Passkeys, a more secure way for users to log into their accounts. Passkeys eliminate SMS-based two-factor authentication and allow users to log in using face, fingerprint, or PIN. The feature is currently available for Android users, with no information on when it will be rolled out for iOS. Passkeys are stored securely in Google Password Manager, and users can set it up within the Settings section of the app.
