Vijay Hazare Trophy: Heavyweights Mumbai lose to Tripura
Minnows Tripura earned a well-deserved 53-run victory over heavyweights Mumbai in a rain-affected group A league match of the Vijay Hazare Trophy in Bengaluru on Sunday. Although Mumbai's skipper Ajinkya Rahane contributed 78 runs off 84 balls, he appeared uneasy against Tripura's not-so-formidable bowling attack. Despite this loss, Mumbai remains firmly positioned for a quarter-final berth, leading the group with 20 points from six games and one match left to play.
