OnePlus is set to launch its first foldable smartphone, OnePlus Open, this month. The CEO, Pete Lau, has revealed that the device has a hinge design with 35 patents and 31 fewer components compared to Oppo Find N2. The phone retains its alert slider, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and dual speakers. Lau also mentioned that OnePlus collaborated with Oppo for the development of the foldable phone. A video recently surfaced online showing Anushka Sharma using the device, which features a circular rear camera module similar to other OnePlus smartphones.
