Nothing’s Carl Pei has a 'message' for Apple CEO Tim Cook
London-based company Nothing, led by CEO Carl Pei, is set to launch Nothing Chat, a messaging interface that will allow Android users to message iPhone users with iMessage compatibility. In a video, Pei mentioned Apple CEO Tim Cook and called for the adoption of the new messaging standard, RCS, to end the "green bubble stigma." Nothing joins Samsung and Google in urging Apple to adopt RCS, which would provide Android users with feature-rich, encrypted messaging. Google has been actively campaigning for Apple to adopt RCS.
