The White House has announced that Nasa is not set to receive a significant increase in its budget for fiscal year 2025. The proposed budget of $25.4 billion is a 2% increase from the previous year but remains uncertain. The budget includes funding for the Artemis program, crewed spaceflight efforts, commercial partnerships, and robotic planetary exploration. The Mars sample return project's budget will be determined based on recommendations from an independent review committee. Nasa aims to maintain a balanced portfolio while making tough choices.
