Pakistan's team director Mickey Arthur has defended skipper Babar Azam following Pakistan's World Cup defeat against England. Speculations suggested that Babar might step down from the captaincy after the tournament, fueled by criticism from former players. Arthur, in a post-match press conference, emphasized the learning curve that comes with captaincy and defended Babar, stating that making mistakes is part of the process. He emphasized that Babar is a young man who needs to be taken on the journey and is still learning.
