Google Meet has introduced a new gesture feature that allows users to raise their hands physically to indicate their desire to speak during meetings. This feature eliminates the need to use the mouse or keyboard to express interest. To ensure the gesture is detected, users should enable their camera and keep their hand visible. The feature can be turned on by selecting More options > Reactions > Hand Raise Gesture. Additionally, Google Meet has added new "beauty" effects, including filters for complexion smoothing, under-eye lightening, and teeth whitening.
