Best Buy may stop selling physical video games, Blu-Ray in the US
US retail chain Best Buy is reportedly planning to stop selling physical media, including video games and Blu-ray DVDs, as early as Q1 2024. The move comes as streaming and digital distribution have significantly impacted the sales of physical media. While companies like Sony and Microsoft have introduced all-digital versions of their gaming consoles, there is still a large number of gamers who prefer physical media.
