Apple vs Meta: The big mixed reality ‘fight’ and how the two are set to battle it out
Apple and Meta are the dominant players in the mixed-reality market. Apple's Vision Pro headset, despite its high price, is seen as superior, while Meta plans to make its Quest headset more affordable. Meta is concerned about Apple's influence and is developing a cheaper headset called Ventura. Apple is also working on a smaller and lighter successor to the Vision Pro. Meta sees AR glasses as the next big thing and plans to release them in 2025, despite Apple halting work on their own AR glasses.
