Angelo Mathews demands 'justice' after controversial 'timed out' dismissal
Sri Lankan batsman Angelo Mathews has demanded "justice" from the International Cricket Council and labeled Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan "a cheat" following a controversial 'timed out' dismissal during the World Cup. Mathews argued that he had been ready with seconds to spare before the chinstrap on his helmet broke, necessitating a replacement. The incident triggered controversy as Mathews failed to comply with the World Cup rule, which requires a new batter to be ready within two minutes of a wicket falling.
