'After-effects of dengue': Shubman Gill on cramp and hamstring woes
India's Shubman Gill, who missed the World Cup semi-final against New Zealand due to dengue, has revealed that he suffered from cramps and a hamstring injury during the match. Gill, who returned to the field later, attributed the issues to the humid conditions and the after-effects of recovering from dengue. He clarified that while dengue has not significantly changed his playing style, the recovery process has resulted in a loss of muscle mass. Despite the physical challenges, Gill remained optimistic about his fitness for the upcoming World Cup final.
