Indian batting was like a high-speed train as the Gen X of Indian cricketers produced an exhilarating display, with Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ishan Kishan, and Ruturaj Gaikwad scoring blazing half-centuries. Rinku Singh's cameo helped India post their highest-ever T20 score against Australia. The spinners Ravi Bishnoi and Axar Patel performed well, and Prasidh Krishna made a good comeback with the ball. Despite a counter-attack from Tim David and Marcus Stoinis, India won by 44 runs to take a 2-0 lead in the series.
